Looking for the perfect spot to set up a Secret Base? This is a list of the Secret Base locations in Ruby and Sapphire, and it goes for Emerald, as well. This page will also give a brief description of each base. I might have missed a few, though. Enjoy!

.:Route 115
  • On the beach just south of Meteor Falls: This base is designed with brown gravel. Several rocks that you can walk on dot the floor. There's two main rooms in this fairly small base.
  • On the mountain ledges connected to Meteor Falls (north): This bas is all one room, designed with brown stone. Roomy.
  • On the mountain ledges connected to Meteor Falls (south): This base is also made of brown stone. There is a small room connected to the entrance by a narrow path.
  • In a tree north of the northernmost beach (left side): This base is a treetop base. It's one room, and although it's long, it's narrow. A small plant sits at one end.
  • In a tree north of the northernmost beach (right side): This treetop base has a narrow, one-square entrance. This path splits into two small rooms. This one has a neat design. =D
  • On a mountain slope, left of a mudslide: This brown stone base is a small one-roomer. Pretty basic.
  • In a rock, sought of the mudslide: A narrow path turns and leads to a small, brown stone room.
  • South of the above rock, in a rock: This base is simply two long, narrow, brown-stone rooms linked with a short path.
  • In the mountain slope above the mudslide: This brown stone hideout is mainly a wide tunnel that leads to a small room. There's one hole to bridge. Another nice design here.
  • In a rock, go up the mudslide and south: Two long, narrow brown-stone rooms are joined by a small path in this base.
  • On the small beach north of the Meteor Falls cave mouth: This base is constructed of sand. The small room is connected to the beach by a narrow path.
.:Route 114
  • Right next to the Meteor Falls entrance: This base is made of brown stone, containing two long, narrow rooms link by a narrow tunnel.
  • In a large rock southwest of Meteor Falls: This brown stone base has a wide path that enters into a small room. There's one hole to be bridged.
  • In the mountain wall next to a Fire Breather (trainer): This brown stone base has a wide path that enters into a small room. There's one hole to be bridged.
  • In the cliff wall, behind two breakable rocks: This base is a narrow path joined to a spacious room.
  • In a wall, on the cliff above the grass: This is a basic room made of brown stone.
  • In a tree, on an island (left side): This treetop base is a narrow path that splits into two rooms.
  • In a tree, on an island (right side): This treetop base has three rooms. The entrance room splits into two smaller rooms. There's two holes to bridge, though. I like this one, it's pretty cool.
.:Route 113
  • Large rock next to twins: This brown gravel base is very basic, just a roomy cave.
.:Route 111
  • Northwest of the mudslide: This base is a long, narrow room made of brown gravel.
  • Small rock, north of the desert mudslide: This base is two small, brown gravel rooms. The path between them is broken by a hole.
  • In the mountain wall overlooking the desert: This base is constructed with two sand rooms. The wide path is broken by a single hole.
  • Tree across from "Old Lady's Rest Shop": This is a one-room treetop base.
  • West of the desert mudslide (same cliff): A skinny sand tunnel that opens into a large, sandy room.
  • In the far northwestern corner of the desert: A basic, sandy room.
  • On the western desert wall, close to the center: A sandy entrance room with two thick, dead-end paths. Shaped like a fork.
.:Route 118
  • The first rock on the Route 123 side: A small, sandy room.
  • The rock on the forest edge: A small, brown gravel room.
  • Tree on the ledge (left side): Long, narrow treetop room.

.:Route 119
  • Rock wall on the west side of the river (first level): Two small, brown gravel rooms joined by a rocky path.
  • On a ledge next to the waterfall (near Weather Center): Gray gravel base. A small room joins to a large one, but a hole must be bridged.
  • Grass bush near Fortree City: Two long, grass rooms joined by a very small path. I like this design.
  • In a wall on the other side of the river, north of the bush: This gray gravel base is mostly one long, winding tunnel. There's a small room at the end. I like this base.
.:Route 120
  • In the bush near Fortree City: Two long, grass rooms, the rooms are combined in this base.
  • In a cliff next to a staircase: A long, gray gravel room.
  • The bush behind a cutable tree, near a berry field: A long, grass room.

  • In the wall across the lake (right): Gray gravel, a tiny room leading to a large one. There's one hole to cover.
  • Bush near puddles and small lake: One room, grass design.
  • Bush in tall grass, south of a lake: This is a cool base, a small room becomes a wide path and then opens into another room. One solid board is required.
